HISTORY OF LODGE 122

 The Cabell County Fraternal Order of Police lodge 122 began in 1988 and is a non-profit organization made up of Law Enforcement officers who commit themselves in providing services to the citizens in Cabell County, such as Christmas for the less fortunate, families in crisis, (fires, floods, etc.) and most importantly assisting in the educating of children in the danger of alcohol and drug abuse.

Since that time the membership has grown to over one hundred members from the Cabell County Sheriffs Office Law Enforcement and Corrections Division, Marshall University Police Department, Barboursville Police Department, West Virginia State Police, State Fire Marshals Office, Veterans Administration Police, United States Marshals Service, FBI, ATF, West Virginia State Department of Corrections, West Virginia Regional Jail Authority and Tri State Airport Police Department.
